This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE BUCKET LIST ADVENTURE, except for international airfare into Kathmandu, Nepal. All other costs including meals, accommodations, trekking permits, in-county flights and other travel, porters, and guides are included (but please account for tips for your porters/guides..)

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 October 17th: International arrivals
Airport pickups and transfers to The Address Hotel, Thamel, Kathmandu, Shop for last minute gear, Formal team meetup in hotel lobby and walk to cultural dinner out with traditional dancing, Optional night out in Thamel, Overnight in hotel
Day 2 October 18th: Cultural Tour in Kathmandu
Team breakfast, Opening circle to begin expedition, Depart for UNESCO historical/cultural/religious site tour of Kathmandu: Boudhanath Stupa (Buddhist) and Pashupatinath Temple (Hindu), Lunch independently at Boudha, Team dinner at Jatra, Pack and early to bed because need to depart for the Everest region at 2am!, Overnight in hotel
Day 3 October 19th: Kathmandu to Phakhding (8,563 ft.)
Early morning (2am!) drive 4 hours to Ramechaap, Morning flight (20 minutes) to Lukla, Khumbu Everest region of eastern Nepal (9,400 ft.) - the starting point for your Everest Base Camp trek!, Packed breakfast, Team lunch in Lukla on arrival, Begin Trek!!, Trek Lukla to Pakhding via suspension bridges and prayer flags, Team dinner, Overnight in trekker lodge, All meals included
Trekking time: ~3 hours
Elevation change: Descend 640 feet
Day 4 October 20th: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (11,300 ft.)
Team breakfast, Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar uphill through forests, suspension bridges, waterfalls, and mountain views, Team lunch on the trail, Team dinner, Optional visit to the highest Irish pub in the world!, Overnight in trekker lodge, All meals included
Trekking time: 7 hours
Elevation change: Ascend 2,750 feet
Day 5 October 21st: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar
Team breakfast, Free day in Namche Bazaar to relax, Acclimatization hike to Everest panorama viewpoint, Visit Everest museum, Talk to local villagers, Team or independent lunch in town, Hot shower!, Last chance for last-minute gear and ATM, Team dinner in lodge, Overnight in trekker lodge, All meals included (unless you opt for independent lunch)
Day 6 October 22nd: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (12,687 ft.)
Team breakfast, Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche - first incredible Everest views~!, Team lunch on trail, Attend evening puja prayers inside Tengboche Buddhist Tibetan Monastery (Tenzin Norgay - Edmund Hillary’s Sherpa used to live her as a young monk!), Team dinner at lodge, Overnight in trekker lodge, All meals included
Trekking time: 4-5 hours
Elevation change: Ascend 1,400 ft.
Day 7 October 23rd: Tengboche to Dingboche (14,400 ft.)
Team breakfast, Trek the beautiful trail from Tengboche to Dingboche - leave the tree line (13,500 ft.) and enter the Alpine!, Team lunch on trail, Team dinner in lodge, Overnight stay in lodge, All meals included
Trekking time: 5 hours
Elevation change: Ascend 1,653 ft.
Day 8 October 24th: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Team breakfast, Free day to rest, Short acclimatization hike, Optional body massage!, Relax in cafes in town, Stretch/yoga session, Team lunch or lunch independently, Everest film in a cafe, Talk with villagers, Team dinner, Evening candlelight meditation
Day 9 October 25th: Dingboche to Lobuche (16,174 ft.)
Team breakfast, Trek Dingboche to Lobuche via remote alpine Himalayan valley surrounded 360 by snow-capped Himalayan peaks!, Team lunch on the trail, Team dinner at lodge, Overnight in trekker lodge, All meals included
Trekking time: 5 hours
Elevation change: Ascend 1,834 ft.
Day 10 October 26th: EVEREST BASE CAMP!!! (17,600 ft.)
Team breakfast, Trek Lobuche to Gorak Shep, Quick team lunch in lodge and then onto Everest Base Camp!!! YOU MADE IT!!! Time at Base Camp for photos and reflection. Trek back to Gorak Shep to sleep, Team dinner at lodge, Evening celebration!!! Overnight stay in trekker lodge, All meals included. This will be the coldest night!
Trekking time: 6 hours
Elevation change: Ascend 1,400 ft.
Day 11 October 27th: Gorak Shep (16,950 ft.) to Kala Patthar (18,200 ft.) to Dingboche (14,400 ft.)
Early morning (4am!) trek up to Kala Patthar for stunning sunrise Himalayan view over Everest, Trek back to Gorak Shep for breakfast, Descend to Dingboche, Team lunch on the trail, Team dinner in trekker lodge, Overnight in trekker lodge, Evening candlelight meditation, All meals included.
Trekking time: 7 hours
Elevation change: Ascend 1,250 ft./Descend 3,800 ft.
Day 12 October 28th: Dingboche to Tengboche (12,687 ft.)
Team breakfast, Trek Dingboche to Tenboche, Lunch in Tenboche, Early arrival time to relax, Stretch/Yoga session, Attend evening puja in Tenboche Monastery, Team dinner in lodge, Overnight in trekker lodge, All meals included
Trekking time: 4 hours
Elevation change: Descend 1,700 ft.
Day 13 October 29th: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (11,300 ft.)
Team breakfast, Trek Tenboche to Namche Bazaar, Early arrival, Team lunch in Namche or independently, Team dinner in lodge, Access to ATM, Optional night out at the highest Irish pub in the world!, Overnight in trekker lodge, All meals included
Trekking time: 4 hours
Elevation change: Descend 1,400 ft.
Day 14 October 30th: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (9,400 ft.)
Team breakfast, Last trekking day! Long trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla, Team lunch on the trail, Team dinner in lodge, Overnight in trekker lodge, All meals included
Trekking time: 7 hours
Elevation change: Descend 1,900 ft.
Day 15 October 31st: Lukla to Kathmandu
Team breakfast, flight Lukla to Ramechap, drive 4 hours to Kathmandu, Packed lunch, Team dinner at Jatra, Overnight at The Address Hotel
Day 16 November 1st: Tihar holiday in Nepal, Team breakfast, Free day in Kathmandu, Shopping, Optional trekker massages at spa, Lunch independently in Thamel, Afternoon closing circle on hotel rooftop, Closing dinner at OR2K restaurant, Walk through Thamel to see the rangolas and candles for Laxmi Puja, Overnight at The Address Hotel
Day 17 November 2nd: International departures
Expedition Cost: $2700 usd
$500 usd nonrefundable deposit. Payment plan options.
No children under 12 years of age.
Serious trekkers of good physical fitness levels only.
This expedition includes: Domestic flights and bus within Nepal, r/t airport transfers, trekking permits, Sagarmatha National Park fee, 3 meals a day while on the trail (3 hot drinks/day: tea or coffee and 3 entree choices/day), all accommodations in Kathmandu hotel and trekking lodges (shared room), traditional dance dinner, any yoga/meditation sessions, sherpas/guides, porters (to carry your big pack on the trail)
This expedition does not include: International airfare, Nepal visa on entry (15 days $30/30 days $50) lunches in Kathmandu, any food/drinks in excess of inclusive options while trekking, emergency evacuation insurance, tips for sherpas/porters: $200 total
Optional additional expenses to expect: Wifi in trekking lodges $3-$10, hot showers $3-$5, hot water bottle for sleeping $2-$5, beer $5-$10, drinks in excess of 3/day - lattes, hot chocolate, coke $3-$5, food in excess of 3 entrees/day including side items, desserts or additional entrees $2-$10

PLEASE ALSO NOTE:
Diamox (high altitude medication) is optional and is provided by our staff.
High-altitude meals are limited to noodles, rice, thukpa Tibetan soup - no meat is available at high altitudes
There is a humanitarian component of this expedition and all guests must collect donations (in any amount) from their home countries to bring
10% of all guest fees go to our Enlightened Globetrekker Humanitarian Aid programs in Nepal
