Eva Wieners

Adventure Guide -  Nepal & Germany

Eva is a German geographer currently living in Nepal. She travelled extensively throughout Europe and South America until the birth of her daughter in 2010. After two years in Germany she decided to take to the road again and start a new life with a home base in Nepal. Travelling has been an important part of her life since then, with daughter Miriam already speaking three languages at the age of 5.

Eva is currently finishing her PhD and working on a sustainable agricultural project with a local Nepali farmers group. Her humanitarian commitment got more serious after experiencing the earthquake in 2015. She is the manager of our Nepal Enlightened Globetrekker Volunteer Program. 

Eva is an avid outdoorswoman and adventurer, and strongly believes in the importance of reconnecting with nature and the magic of discovering new cultures. After living in Nepal for almost four years, she knows the country, the culture, and its hidden treasures extremely well. Eva speaks English, Spanish, German, and Nepali.
